which comes first?

does the rain, rainbow, or sunshine comes first?.. do we have to wait for the rain to come to find out that something isnt right.. something isnt the way it should be.. does the rain always make us realise how much we dont understand that person?.. the mist appears as the rain touches that sun-baked ground.. blinding us.. it is this barrier that makes us see the truth that we actually have alot to understand about others..

after the rain, comes the rainbow.. in the clear blue sky.. over the crystal clear green pastures.. people sees the rainbow as a symbol of hope.. there is a myth saying at the end of a rainbow there is a pot of gold awaiting us.. but who will ever find it.. those who had studied science will know that this pot of gold never existed.. how this myth came about.. i have no idea.. but.. it is this pot of gold that gives people hope.. gives people the strength to carry on.. however.. it is also this pot of gold that cause people to believe that they will one day be rich.. they continue searching for the gold believing it exist.. they refuse to work as the thought of striking gold overpowers the thought that by working hard, you will get what you deserve..

the rainbow doesnt last.. it is there for a moment.. just like a bubble.. it disappears as fast as it appears.. then there is sunlight.. to guide our pathway.. it stays for a while.. that sunlight.. but after a while, it will start to rain..

many hope for the sunlight to last forever but it seldom does.. some get to see the bright sunlight.. but some is just lucky to see a few rays of it.. there are those who are stuck in the rain.. they struggle to get out.. they get tricked by mother nature.. as the rain dwindles from a storm to a drizzle, their spirits get lifted as it is sort of a sign that the rain is going to stop.. but as they prepare for the sun to shine once again.. the rain gets heavier.. the weight of the rain droplets gets heavier and heavier on the shirt.. pulling them down.. once again.. they enter the battle field they are trying to run away from..

then if they ever get a chance to get out of the rain.. they wish the rain never comes again.. they would do anything to avoid it.. to prevent themselves from getting into that mess ever again.. is it any wrong to do so?..

we always ask people to face their problems.. to not run away from it.. to not hide from it.. but very often we ourselves do not practice what we preached.. we also choose to run.. believing that it is the way out.. maybe it is.. it actually stops the pain.. the agony for that moment in time.. but but.. not forever.. sooner or later we will have to deal with where we left off.. dont we..
