haf been spending every wed of my hols in a chemotherapy clinic.. accompany my aunt there.. give her the family support that everyone had been showing.. we take turns accompanying her there whenever we can take time off fr work.. since it's my hols.. so i decided to let the others get on wif their jobs n let me do the job.. guess it's a pretty enriching experience.. seeing the things my aunt goes thru allow me to understand it all better.. it is not as simple as i tot it was.. it's actually pretty tiring to wait to see the doc and go thru 2 hrs of chemotherapy when u just sit there n dun do really much.. only 2 tvs to be shared by the number of pts there at any one time.. but the time spent wif my aunt allowed me to talk to her and learnt abt the experiences she had when she volunteered.. which got me interested.. maybe i can find myself n peace in reading the books written by a nun that my aunt lent me.. the warmth from the nurses and staff at the clinic really got me thinking of wad kind of therapist i wanna be next time.. i felt at ease when i was there even if that was my first trip there.. everyone seemed to know everyone.. the nurses were very nice.. even up to the lady who did the cleaning was very kind to the patients.. service there was definitely sumthing i really admire..
