well.. 9 aug 08.. first time i spent national day overseas.. after 22 years.. well.. we had a party.. lumps made chicken rice, bixia fried hokkien mee, wanying baked apple crumble, sarah made garlic bread, boh wee fried fish.. hee.. good spread of food.. nice..
after eating, we tune in to the parade live thru webcast.. haha.. the eleven of us crowd round 2 computers.. kinda nice .. when things get boring, we got the olympics to watch too.. haha.. then they all stayed over.. so fun...
yesterdae.. i went on the sydney harbour bridge.. TO CLIMB!! went during the twilight timing.. it was super COOL! it was about 3 and half hours in total.. we were given suits to wear and all the necessary stuff.. like some astronaut.. ha.. fully geared.. my group of ppl came from aust, britain and american.. super cool.. some were celebrating their birthday.. too bad cant bring my cam up to take photos.. oh well.. it was a great experience and definitely worth going though it's abit pricy.. oh well.. our guide, nathan, was very good (he's kinda cute too)haha.. the staff there were quite friendly.. the view up there is great.. and can see the sun setting and stuff.. the wind was so strong.. can blow ppl away lor.. super cold too..but it's worth going.. so fun.. the lady walking behind me was so funny.. haha.. wish i could go up again.. maybe next time..
